Chris Benischek, a graduate of Notre Dame Law School in 1994, has been practicing law since 1994. He has extensive experience in complex civil litigation and immigration matters, and has represented Fortune 500 corporations and high-networth persons before immigration tribunals and state and federal courts. He spent four years in-house in the corporate world as deputy general counsel at a 700-man financial institution handling all immigration matters, as well as corporate matters including political lobbying on Capitol Hill, before returning to his own immigration firm in 2008. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Mr. Benischek is Of Counsel to Cytowski LLC, an international business law firm with offices in New York and Warsaw, Poland.

Mr. Benischek is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey and Colorado. He is also admitted to practice in the federal courts of the Second Circuit, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

Although based in New York, Mr. Benischek can (and does) represent clients on cases that will not be filed in New York, because immigration law is a federal matter. He regularly takes on representations for clients in other States or abroad, and is comfortable with long-distance representation via the internet. He represents clients here in the United States, abroad, and at U.S. consulates or embassies in Europe, Africa, the Far East, Down Under, and Mexico and the rest of Latin America.
